CHANDIGARH: In a swift action militants on Tuesday kidnapped Maktiar Singh a brother of Punjab Minister of State Gulzar Singh in Bhatinda district. Elsewhere in Punjab one militant was among three persons killed and a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol party escaped unhurt in a mine blast during the past 24 hours.
A report from Dehradun in a Joint operation the police and the Border Security Force shot dead top militant Sainam Singh Satta area commander of Khalistan Liberation Force following a brief encounter in the early hours on Tuesday.
