CHANDIGARH: Khalistan Liberation Force headed by Bhai Gurjant Singh Budhsinghwala bas warned the Tribune management against following in the footsteps of Lala Jagat Narains group of newspapers in suppressing militant’s press releases.
In a note to the Punjabi Tribune signed by B.M. Bomb Joga Singh Kauli Resham Singh Thande Nishan Singh Makhu and Gurdip Singh Dadhera the militants said that the statements were curtailed and distorted while the statements of Akali leaders like Gurcharan Singh Tohra found liberal treatments.
“Some of the press notes issued by us remain to be used by you for more than two months” the note reminded the management.
The Punjabi Tribune said that these press notes mentioned the warning against certain corrupt officials of the state administration against prostitution by a few women eve-teasing by certain boys and harassment of Patiala municipal sweepers at the hands of an old municipal employee as well as certain grievances against the Hinds community.
