LONDON: ‘The opposition labour party in a resolution conference on Jammu and Kashmir Sunday has resolved to fight the Pakistan sponsored disinformation campaign and anti-India propaganda on Kashmir in Britain.

‘The offer of British mediation to herald a dialogue between India and Pakistan for a settlement  of the Kashmir Issue under the Shimla agreement was reiterated by a labour party representative, who read out a statement from the labour leadership seeking to balance the party’s Stand on Kashmir.

The Party aims to neutralize the crucial vote band of the Indians on the eve of the general election expected next month.

The offer of British Mediation was out rightly rejected by the unanimous chants of “90” ‘no from the audience.

“The conference, organized in the Brent council hall in Wenbley in North West London, with a large Gujarati community, Is rated to be the largest alley held so far in the UK.

High commissioner for in LM, Singhvi, who was the chief, warned against attempts to make Kashmir a shuttlecock of international diplomacy and urged all democratic forces in the world to ‘expose the spearheads of the disinformation campaign against India on Kashmir.

Singhvi said Kashmir was an integral part of a democratic and secular India and asserted that attempt to destroy or question this me work would amount to destroying the fundamentals of the modem society.

He defended India’s Human Rights recorded said the Indian polity was committed 10 values ‘of democracy, Human Rights and a multicultural pluralism,

‘The high commissioner said the violators of human rights in Kashmir had been brought to book. He warned against the Pakistan propaganda on Kashmir and said India would not allow a state role a victim of terrorism and disinformation campaign.

He declared that India will fight this Psychological warfare and said “let the enemies of India know that they can’t win an inch of its land.
