AMRITSAR: The bandh call given by the Babbar Khalsa International in protest against the killing Bhai Sukhdev Singh Chaba, area commander, in a “fake” encounter evoked mixed response, Saturday last.

Most of the shops in Hass Bazar and adjoining markers, shops around the Golicem Temple complex and in the Sultanwind area were closed

Bus and train services and educational institutions accept a few Sikh institutions, functioned normally.

The supply of milk, vegetables fodder frow rural areas were normal.

LUDHIANA: Response to the bandh here was partial. All major business centers functioned normally while shops on Gill Road remained closed. Shops in all wayside towns like Dehlon,

Raikot, Jargaon and mulanpur remained closed.

Filling stations remained closed.

 TARNTARAN: Partial bandi was observed in the town while in rural areas it was complete.

Report from go indwell, Fatehabad ,bhikhiwind ,patti and other rural township said the  bandh was complete in these areas.. Bus services were affected! BATAIA: Residents here observed a paril bandh. Punjab Roadways buses pile only on the main routes to Amritsar Pathan kohl and Jalandhar.

BATHINDA: The bandh call by the militant body evoked poor response in the district. Nearly all shops in the city were open and the supply of fodded and mills remained unaffected, bus services, however, were partially disrupted. Samana Morinda and Bhuchu Mandi observed bandh. Reports from Khana said the bandh was total there white the bandh call evoked no response it Samana.
