Held after every 2 years. Election Commission of Stockton Gurdwara Sahib received 35 nominations for Board of Trustees, 21 positions by Feb3, the dead line date. Before the withdrawal deadline, 14 candidates withdrew their names, and 21 remaining candidates were unopposed and were declared elected for 2 years terms by the chairperson of Election Commission on Election Day in the Diwan on 1, Mar. 92.

The unanimous decision of the election was welcomed and appreciated by the Sangat and it is considered accoster step to unity in the local Sikh Community.

The results have been certified by is the election commission and the names of elected Board of Trustees are a8 indicated.

Security forces shot dead two more militants in another counter near Ghuman village in Sangrur district on Monday night. They were identified as Sukhdev Singh, a listed Babbar Khalsa, and Bahadur Singh. One AK-47 rifle, a31Sbore rifle and some rounds of ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.

 Militants gunned down four persons at Moni park colony in Amritsar district. The victims were identified as Ram Raj, Kidar Nath, Janak and Ramesh Lal.

Police said that militants shot at and seriously injured a shopkeeper, Romesh Lal, who was driving on a motor cycle. As the three workers came out of their house on hearing the gun shots, they too were fired upon in discriminately. All the three died on the spot.

In an encounter, security forces gunned down two militants Tuesday.
