WINDSOR: Ontario’s Premier Bob Rae assured that if unions help, his government can cut spending without hurting a single employee. Rae was in Windsor where he fielded calls about his drive to persuade unions to join in a cutting plan. Rae has already announced a cut in government programs and services. Under the so called social contract plan another S2 billion will be cut from the 900,000 workers under consideration. If negotiated it will affect all the publicity funded jobs, Rae said that his deficit figures plan can be done through early retirement other hand, unions one insisting that Rae government should concentrate on governors waste and rather than Citing payrolls.
