NEW DELHI: The Three Black Cat commandos of the elite National Security Guards (NSG) who assaulted a Sikh naval commander and his family, have been removed from the NSG and sent back to their parent bodies. The commandos were part of the security cover provided to Congress MP from outer Delhi Sajjan Kumar.
The three men, Dalip Singh, Kailash Chand and Surendra Kumar, were from the Border Security Force (BSE) and the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). They were of the ranks of head constable and constable.
The three commandos along with a Delhi Police constable had beaten up Naval Commander Harpreet Singh Kalra in Mansarovar Garden, West Delhi, over a trivial issue.
The commandos teased Kalra’s wife and dangerously overtook his car at a crossing when Kalra remonstrated, the commandos forced him to stop the car and thrashed him. They also beat up his wife and 12 year old son and threatened to shoot Kalra, The beating could have taken a worse tum if it was not for the area residents who came out and surrounded the Black Cats, making them immobile till they were arrested.
