Talking tonewspersons here June 18, Marwah said the threat was antinational and ought to be criticized by all Sikh organizations and Tohra. “The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, of which Tohra is president is responsible only for the maintenance and upkeep of gurdwaras. Tohra has no night to consider himself a Jeader of the Sikhs,” Manwah said. Healso took exception to Tohra’s stand that India is a “union” not a country. “Such provocative statements, issues with the aim of securing power, harm the national interest,” Marwah averred.
