NEW DELHI (PTI): Indian Prime Minister P.V…Narasimha Rao will visit China in September.

General Secretary of the All India Congress I Committee Sushil Kumar Shinde who recently led a seven member AICCI delegation to China told newsmen on July 14 that China’ was eagerly awaiting Rao’s visit.

The Chinese, he said, wanted to forget what happened in the early 60’s, resolve the border dispute and open a new chapter with India.

“There has been constant improvement in our relations with China during the past five years,” he said.

During the visit, the Congress delegation exchanged views with Jiang Zamind, president of the people’s republic of China and general secretary of the communist party and chairman of milioe Shinde said.

President Jiang spoke warmly é about the historic and cultural Te between the two ancient civilizations of Asia.

During the visit, the ‘delegation also exchanged views with Lee Sizzling, head of the international department of the communist party of China. It also exchanged views on the growing problems of Population, 2 problem common to both counties, he said, Stressing: the need for exchange of technologies to check the burgeoning Population, Shinde added.
