“ONTARIO: Mr Veerendra Adhiya, a veteran Hindi radio and television broadcaster has started a ‘petition in Mississauga, Ontario to rename part of the Airport Road as “Veer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji “Margq.”
He intends to send this petition with at least 5000 signatures to the manor of Mississauga and has “appealed to local residents to sign the petition. He said, “Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji” is our childhood hero ‘who gave his life for the freedom of India. His name will inspire us and will give our community an identity.” Through his popular radio and television shows “Bhagat Darshan” Mr. Adhiya earlier.
“Successfully petitioned Canadian Federal Government for an apology for “Injustice,” The petition addressed 10 the Mayor of Mississauga, Ontario seeks the renaming of the road after Shaheed Bhagat Singh to give a sense of identity to the several thousand Indian residents of the city.
