What is that shampoo you are using? egg? lemon? coconut? Well, use it no more because a shampoo is a mixture of water, detergent, oil, perfume, aloe vera, silk protein and some other nutrients. Now the funny thing is that none of them has much effect on the texture of your hair. They have a lot of effect on the ad copy, though, says The Illustrated Weekly of India.

The hair on your head comes from your genes, says Consumer Confrontation, a journal of the Consumer Education and Research Society, Ahmedabad, and no shampoo on earth can wash that fact away. The shampoo people have got to know of it. Hence their new emphasis on herbal ingredients. Though these may be more attractive than synthetic ingredients, the appeal stops there. There is no scientific proof that a flower will do the trick where a foul chemical fails.

But that’s not the end of it. Researchers have found out that all shampoos have a basic nitrogen derivative “ndela,” which his acarcinogen. Ndela is easily absorbed through the skin into the blood. The poison then fills the whole bloodstream, which, to no one’s surprise, kills.

So here is what we suggest: buy shampoo no more. Run instead to your doctor and get cancer check. For the future, pray for parents with a head full of hair of your preferred color and texture.
