It is suggested through leaks that he has been suffering from influenza. Whatever the nature of the sickness, the fact remains that it has been pressing for too long. The result has been that the prime minister had repeatedly to postpone scheduled visits,

First, he twice postponed his planned visit to the Himalayan kingdom, Bhutan. Now the prime minster has deferred his visit to Yemen, The Yemen visit was considered important at this stage because of the damage caused to Indo Arab relations as a result of the visit of Israeli foreign minister to India, India sent its junior foreign minister R.L.Bhawia to certain Arab countries in an effort at repairing the damage, Bhatia was cold shouldered by UAE, the most influential Arab country, He reportedly advised the prime minister (o make a personal trip to nip the emerging evil of soured relations in the bud but the plan has been paralyzed by the continuing ailment of the prime minister.
