NEW DELHI: A Delhi court Wednesday adjourned the hearings in the case against the parents of the child bride Ameena and Sheikh Yahya Al-Sageih to whom the 11= yr-old was “married”
Metropolitan magistrate Anu Malhotra in whose court Ameena her father Sheikh Badruddin and Yahya Sageih were present said the proceedings would continue on February 21.
The Ameena case hit the headlines on August 10 when she was rescued by an alert air crew from Reo scot “husband” after they landed at the Delhi airport fight from Hyderabad.
