New Delhi: A nine-judge constitution bench of the Supreme Court began hearing arguments on writ petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the job reservation policies of the V.P. Singh and Rao Governments in respect to the backward classes.
The bench headed by chief justice M.H Kania was constituted last December.
