MOGA: The Punjab Pradesh Congress (l) president Beant Singh has demanded that the Center should announce a package for Punjab.
Speaking at the bhog ceremony of Niranjan Singh Brar freedom fighter here on Sunday he said that Chandigarh should be transferred to Punjab and Abohar and Fazilka must be referred to Supreme Court.
The PCC chief condemned the killings of innocent persons by militants and denied any incidents of police excesses as had been alleged by Akalis.
