NEW YORK: Mother Teresa walked out of hospital saying the felt “much better thank God”.
The 81-yr-old Roman Catholic nun had been hospitalized for three weeks for treatment of pneumonia and heart problems.
She told reporters her wish now is “to bring the joy of loving to every heart and to share the joy of loving with everyone especially the poor”.
Supporters applauded as the Nobel Laureate wearing her trademark blue-and-white sari walked out of the hospital accompanied by her doctors.
She returned to her Missionaries of Charity order in Tijuana Mexico to recuperate.
