AMRITSAR: Sarbjit Singh District Magistrate Amritsar has extended the curfew in 150 villages from 6 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. with immediate effect till March 5.1992.
The District Magistrate took this step as precautionary measures as there had been an increase in the smuggling of arms and ammunition from Pakistan.
