WASHINGTON: The nuclear-powered submarine USS Grayling accidentally collided with a Russian submarine in the Barents Sea over the weekend, and the damage to both vessels was minimal, the Pentagon said Monday.
“The United States regrets the incident,” the Pentagon said in a Statement. “The Russian submarine is reported to be safe.”
‘The U.S. sub was en route to its base in South Carolina.
