BONN(PTI):German chancellor, Helmut Kohl, has expressed great satisfaction over his recent visit to India from Feb.1822.
It is reported that Kohl was tm pressed by his meetings with prime minister, P.V.Narasimha Rao and the Indian leadership.
Kohl, it is further said enjoyed his trip to Ajanta and Ellora witnessing the past glories of Indian culture.
A confidant of Kohl said, the chancellor is looking forward to meeting prime minister Rao, who is likely to visit Germany some time later this year or early next year,
The chancellor is also reported to have announced his support for an cast Germany company in Leipzig which has signed together with other German firms a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the Jayamokandan Lignite Project (JLPC) in the state of Tamil Nadu. According to the Daily “Leipziger Volkszeitung,” the chancellor, after inaugurated the Leipzig fair (March 1116) ad vised the firm “Takraf,” a sign a tory with Man, Siemens, Ghh and Deutsche Babcock to the JLPC project, to keep the Indian market in focal point.”
