JAMMU (PTI): Lt-Gen D, D Saklani took over as the fourth advisor of Jammu and Kashmir governor in Srinagar.
Saklani replaces Lt Gen M.A Zaki, who served the as advisor to law and order and security for nearly 14 months.
However, the state governor, G.C.Saxena has not yet allotted army portfolio to Lt Gen Saklani, an official spokesman said.
Lt Gen Saklani is the fourth advisor in Jammu and Kashmir, the three others being Hamidullah Khan, BJ. Hirjee and R.C Jain.
