BELJING (PTI): Sino Indian cultural relations founded on a new market oriented approach are expected to receive a boost when Chinese minister of radio, film and television, Ai Zhisheng and his delegation visit India from February two to eight.

Ai, a communist party central committee member and one of the Senior most ministers who has held his current portfolio for the past eight years, will be the first Chinese minister incharge of the mass media to visit India.

Ai and his delegation will have wide ranging meetings with representatives of the Indian film industry, Television producers and officials of all India radio and Doordarshan. Special emphasis will be paid to interactions between the Chinese delegation and private Indian producers so that discussions may be informed by economic and commercial thinking.
