BONN,GERMANY: Economics Minister Juergen Moellemann resigned Sunday over a growing political scandal and amid accusations that Germany’s economic troubles are too big for him to handle. Moellemann, hand-picked by Chancellor Helmut Kohl for the economics post two years ago, was forced out by disclosures that he misused his office to promote a product manufactured by a relative.
