The New England Sikh Study circle was formed in 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts by a handful of Sikhs. Since then it has grown into a good size community from the New England States of Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
The present building of the Gurdwara Sahib was purchased in January 1991. The first Diwan preceded by Siri Akhand Path Sahib followed by Kirtan by Bhai Jiwan Singh was held on January 20, 1991.
A weekly Kirtan is held every Sunday from 10:30 am. The Gurdwara Sahib is conveniently accessible from Boston Mass. and Hartford Conn. by I-90 and I- 84 and from Rhode Island by I -495.
