NEW DELHI, India, Nov. 2, Reuter: Unidentified gunmen killed seven people in a raid on a village in India’s strife-torn northern State of Punjab, the Press Trust of India reported on Monday,

The news agency said a group of gunmen attacked a village in Hoshiarpur district on Sunday night, firing indiscriminately,

Six people were killed on the spot and one died later in hospital. Six villagers were also wounded. Police said a manhunt had been launched for the gunmen.
