FATEHGARH SAHIBI: SGPC president Gurcharan Singh Tohra has given a call for Panthic unity which he defined as unity of various Akali factions and other Sikh Organizations.
Talking to newsmen after the SGPC executive meeting Tohra who assume d charge after 3 years said Panthic unity was in the interest of Punjab. He said he would initiate steps in this direction. Tohra said the Cong-I govt divided the Akalis and the results were negative. He hoped the new govt would not follow similar policies.
