SIFE members participated in TADC-Texas Association of Deve loping Colleges Leadership Conference on October 19, 1989. They distributed literature on Free Enterprise, SIFE, Different Systems and Creativity in Rand Auxillary Gymnasium. SIFE, President Christopher Towns displayed posters on Drugs, Deficit, budget and Free Enterprise.
SIFE member Christopher Towns helped in completing credit card applications in the lobby of the Student Center on October 26, 1989. SIFE members and their faculty advisor Pritpal Singh Chatha and Dr. Delano Phelps attended, NBA National Bankers Association Convention in the Sheraton Hotel, Dallas, Texas on October 27, 1989. The students registered and submitted their resumes at 9:30 AM at the 62nd NBA’s annual Convention registration desk. The members with their advisors participated in the National Association Annual Prayers Breakfast, Directors Workshop and Third Annual Student Symposium (Careers in Banking and Finance). The participants enjoyed the program and unanimously stated that it was a very enriching and educational experience the following students Christopher Towns, Lenord John son, Tara Vaughn, Juanita Eddy, Larry Allen, and Yolander P. White participated in the NBA Annual Convention, “Bankings Cultural Diversity in Action”, program.
