The activists of the Sikh Youth Organization of Chicago proved their zeal and eagerness to learn about and maintain their Sikhheritage by taking over the Chicago Gurudwara for a day.
Saturday November 11 was the children’s Gurudwara day in Chicago Gurudwara in Palatine.
In an effort to prove their capability to manage the Gurudwara Sabhib. The Sikh youth did most of everything from cooking the linger, cleaning the Gurudwara Sahib, reciting Shabad Kirtan, Chaur, Hukam to Langsar Sewa.
Parents of the participants were supportive of their young adults and provided supervision and guidance for the attempt made by the Chicago youth to preserve, follow and flourish the Sikh values and principles.
