CANDIGARH, India: An inspector of the Industrial Training Institute was shot as the Security forces arrested at least 12 freedom fighters in Punjab. The Punjab Police Chief, Mr. J.P. Ribiro, reiterated his determination to continue fighting the freedom fighters until they surrender their arms and ammunitions, and stop ‘killing innocent persons and give up separatist issues. Rashpal Singh, an inspector in the ITT ‘Amritsar was shot dead in his house under Majitha police station. Security forces arrested five freedom fighters during the nakabandhi in Jullundur district, three in Ludhiana district and allegedly recovered arms and ammunition from them, Those arrested in JulJundur were identified as Santokh Singh, Indu Singh, Nirmal Singh, Shangara Singh and Amarjit Singh.
