Waheguru Akalpurakh has finally blessed us with the great opportunity of building the Los Angeles GURUDWARA SAHIB (Sikh Temple) at 1966 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles. The rendering below, closely depicts the proposed Gurudwara Sahib. The building will be four (4) stories high and will house an Assembly Hall, a Museum of Sikh History, a Dining Room, a Library and School area, Priest House, Visiting Counselor rooms, Offices and two (2) levels of underground Parking.

The City of Los Angeles has permitted Church zoning and approved preliminary plans after eigh- teen (18) months of processing. The construction plans are nearing completion and building permit is expected soon, Demolition of old structures was started on April 4, 1987 and foundation ceremony is scheduled on April 12, 1987. The construction is estimated to cost 1.5 to 17 million dollars.
