WASHINGTON, D.C: Two term Republican Congressman, Frank Wolf with the members of the Sikh community of the Washington metropolitan area in McLean, Virginia on October 18, 1986, during a fund raiser for his bid for US House of Representatives.
This fund raiser was arranged by the members of Guru Gobind Singh Foundation; The amount of $3,500.00 was collected and was given to the Congressman. He defeated his Democratic rival with ‘a great margin in the election.
During this fund raiser, members of the Sikh community expressed their concern for the situation in India, especially with the Sikhs, and the issues facing the community in this country.
