NEW DELHI, India: India had drawn up a five year programme for tightening security along its borders.
Voice of America quoted the Indian Home Minister, Mr. Boota Singh, as saying in the Indian Parliament that under the plan Border Security Forces would be strengthened observation posts would be constructed and border guards would be equipped with sophisticated weapons to prevent infiltrations.
