AMRITSAR, Punjab, India: The Sikh organizations have decided to resume a campaign against social evils from September 3, 1987. This was announced by Lt. General Jaswant Singh on behalf of Gen. Labh Singh of Khalistan Commando Force at a press conference, last week. This campaign will include closure of liqour vends, stopping of dowry and to teach a lesson to the corrupt officers.
The campaign which was launched earlier, was slowed down due to the pressure of the paramilitary forces.
