We are passing through a very tough situation. The conditions in Punjab are deteriorating. The attack on the Golden Temple was Indian government’s first attempt to malign Sikhs as “terrorists”. Let’s consider what our guilt was. The Sikhs have no trust on government but it does not mean that we are traitors to India. The fact is that Sikhs are true patriots. But we are patriots first of all to our Guru, then, to our religion and after that we are patriots to India, When they bum our holy Granth Sahib and our Gurdwaras, how can we are patriots to India, In the Indian constitution, everyone has a tight to travel freely in India. But when Sikhs travelled in trains, buses Between Oct. 31 to Nov. 3rd, 1984, they were pulled out and burnt alive, our sisters, mothers, daughters were raped by gangs of Hindus. Every brother of those sisters, every son of those mothers and the fathers of those girls want retribution for the perpetrators of these inhuman crimes. The government is helping those who want to eliminate Sikh religion.
Now the freedom fighters have come into the battle-ground, but one thing they should remember that we have to fight according to our religious teachings and adopt government’s style. I know that the Sikhs, who have been killed till today, were 100% innocent but it doesn’t mean that we should also ill innocent persons. Now the battle is between truths and false- hood. The persons who have done large scale of killing in 1984, arc enemies of Sikhism,
A Sikh never attacks women, children, and innocent. Persons. Let’s follow Gurus teachings and try to make our own homeland. We need a homeland of a type, where no Gurdwara would be attacked, no women would be molested, no innocent person would be burnt alive, we want this type of homeland. Rest is on God. If we follow our Gurus, well get success. Lets pray for bright future of Panth.
