CHANDIGARH: Kamaljit Singh, son of Unified Akali Dal, Manjit Singh Taran Tarni was injured in an attack on August 17, by some gunmen.
An unspecified number of gunmen raided the shop of Manjit Singh at Tarn Taran injuring his
son. He was admitted in critical Condition at the SGTB Hospital in Amritsar.
Police said they shot dead Hazura Singh and injured his associate Jaswinder Singh in what was described as a raid on a farm house in Tarn Taran police district. Two Ak47 rifles and some ammunition were allegedly seized from them.
Balwinder Singh, Area Commander of the Khalistan Commando Force was killed while two others who were with him managed to escape according to the police.
