The Punjab Janata Dal will launch a mass contact drive in the first week of September in view of the ensuing elections mass rallies will be organized at the district and subdivision headquarters at which national level Jeaders, including Mr. V. P. Singh and Mr. N. T. Rama Rao will speak, Mr. Roop Lal, Chairman of the Punjab Janata Dal Parliamentary Board, said here on August 12.
The Janata Dal would not have a poll alliance with any Akali Dal faction.
