DEHRADUN: The condition of Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Pandit is much better official sources said here on July 29.
She however is still in the intensive care unit of the hospital, sources said.
Mrs. Pandit (89) was admitted to the military hospital here on July 26 in an un conscientious state. She is the sister of the late Prime Minister Jawhar Lal Neharu. She has served as Indian ambassador to ITN USA and U.K.
