By A Staff Writer AMRITSAR: Bhai Manjit Singh, the President of All India Sikh Student’s Federation said he will unite all the Sikhs who believe in the philosophy of late Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and Bhai Amrik Singh.
Bhai Manjit Singh was ordered to be set free by a court after it dismissed the case filed against him. He was released from Sangrur jail the next morning at10:30 am on July 30.
On his release Bhai Manjit Singh proceeded to Gurdwara Gurdarshan Prakash at Chowk Mehta, the headquarters of Damdami Taksal, to pay his obeisance where he was given a warm welcome by the AISSF and others.
He was scheduled to be taken, at the head of a procession, to the Golden Temple in Amritsar on July 31. Baba Thakur Singh of the Damdami Taksal and Harminder Singh Sandhu, General Secretary of the AISSF had given a call for the Sikhs to participate in the march!
