NEW DELHI: Australia will take on Egypt in the opening match of the fourth Junior World Cup Hockey Tournament beginning at Ipoh (Malaysia) from August 8
According to the draw released by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) 12 teams have been divided into two groups.
Group “A” will have Australia, Egypt, Holland, West Germany, Argentina and hosts Malaysia
Group “B” includes Pakistan, England the USSR, Cuba, Spain and South Korea.
The final of the 12 day long tournament will be held on August 19.
India failed 10 qualify for this tournament as they finished third in the Asian Qualifying Tournament held here in October November last year.
