DELANO: If a printing press can print nine newspapers in two minutes, how many can it print in three fifths of an hour?
This problem and many others, were solved by students on Saturday May 13 when Cecil Avenue Junior High School in cooperation with Delano Lions Club and Delano’s Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority sponsored the Eighth Annual Cecil Avenue Math Field Day for area of fifth and sixth grade students.
Inderpreet Singh Saini topped among sixth grade students. Inderpreet Singh Sai son of Dr. Gurshar Singh Saini. He also participated and was a winner in a math event for 7th grade at Bakers. field meet.
