NEW DELHI: Balbir Singh acquitted by the Supreme Court in the Indira Gandhi assassination case, today went to Tihar Jail to collect his personal belongings.
Accompanied by a relative he waited at the gate No 1 of the maximum security prison till an Assistant Superintendent came out and told him to write an application for handing over the belongings. Balbir complied with the request.
