CHANDIGARH: Ram Jethmalani, MP the prominent lawyer has agreed to defend Simranjit Singh Mann and others alleged to be involved in the conspiracy to assassinate Indira Gandhi.
This was disclosed here today by Manjit Singh Calcutta, Secretary of the Shiromini Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee in a talk with newsmen, Jethmalani had earlier declined to take up the defense of Mann, But he changed his mind after the SGPC passed a resolution undertaking to provide legal defense to Mann.
