NEW DELHI: Opposition leaders sharply criticized Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in the Rajya Sabha for Jawhar interfering in the States though his new gradoise plan the Vikas Yojna, They said that the plan was an election stunt and would not help the rural areas in the country. It would only help some of the selected constitutiences they maintained.
