PAKISTAN: The North West Frontier of Pakistan went out of the hands of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party as its collation partners resigned as ministers.

Ministers of the Awami National Party resigned because person not of their liking was appointed as governor of the state. This destroyed the collation and has paced the way for an opposition government.

People’s Party, lead by Benazir Bhutto is in power at the federal levels but only one state of Pakistan Sindh is governed by it.

On the other hand people are getting disenchanted with Bhutto and accuse her of selling out to India, Pakistan’s traditional enemy.

Astrike by the Pakistan International Airlines which has crippled the country’s air traffic has added to the governments woes as has the three days of continued firing between India and Pakistani armies in Saichin Glacier in Kashmir.
