CHANDIGARH, India: A shocking example of the complete disregard of judicial authority by the police and the paramilitary officials has come to the notice of the public; A Gurdaspur Court has issued arrest warrants five times against an inspector and five officials of Punjab police and a Deputy Commander of the BS.F. But failed to get compliance even though all the wanted persons are reportedly present on their duty.
A case bad been filed against all these officials for Killing senior All India Sikh Student Federation leaders, Shahid Shashpal Singh Gill and Master Suba Singh. All formalities including the examination of the witnesses have been completed by the court but police and BSF. Authorities refuse to oblige the court. The last warrant was issued on October 9th but no reply has yet been received.
