NEW DELHI, Sept. 29: Reuter: At least 10 people were injured when an Indian Airlines Airbus made an emergency landing in the southern city of Madras today with one engine on fire, the Press Trust of India reported.
The news agency said 185 passengers on the domestic flight to Bombay escaped down exit chutes when the pilot returned to Madras after noticing smoke bellowing from the port engine.
