PEKING Reuter: Pakistan Foreign Minister Sahabzada Yaqub Khan has arrived in Peking to sign an agreement with China on cooperation in nuclear energy the official New China News Agency reported.
The Agency said Yaqub Khan arrived yesterday and was feted last night by Song Jian Minister in charge of Chinas state Science and Technology Commission.
The agreement on cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear power has expected to be signed later today.
India which exploded a nuclear device in 1974 regularly accuses Pakistan of making nuclear weapons. Islamabad insists its nuclear program is for energy alone.
