CHANDIGARH: The Union Home Ministry has decided to appoint Mr. R.N. Agarwal, an LA S. of U.T Cadre as advisor to the Chief Administrator Union territory of Chandigarh Cum Chief Commissioner of Chandigarh. The Union Home Ministry has also appointed Mr. Varindera Singh, an I.A.S officer of U.T. Cadre, as the new Finance Secretary of the Chandigarh Administration. Mr. K. Benerji, the present Chief Com missioner of Chandigarh, is retiring on April 30.
