Yuba City, CA: In identical telegrams to Akali Dal leaders in Punjab, S. Didar Singh Bains, President WSO (International) and S. Lakhbir Singh Chima, ‘Acting President WSO (USA) has warned Punjab Chief Minister, S, Surjit Singh Bamnala, Finance Minister Balwant Singh, S.G.P.C. Chief G.S. TohraandS, Parkash Singh Badal against any sell out of Punjab resources. The text of the telegram is given below.
Stop transfer of 54 Punjabi speaking villages of Abohar Fazika area to Haryana. Panth will never forgive this betrayal and plundering of Punjab resources. It is a conspiracy to cut Ganga Nagar from Punjab and to make Haryana a riparian state. Bartering away these villages amounts to negation of all Sikh sacrifices and Dharam Yudh Morcha itself. World Sikh Organization would not accept any such sell out and invoke Akal Takht to declare all signatories to this treacherous deal as tankhaias.
