For the past three and a half years, I have been a regular reader of World Sikh News. Time and time again, I find on its Pages news reports and other information that illuminate events in Punjab in particular and in India in general.
I am especially indebted to World Sikh News for making available to its readership the full and complete text of reports detailing the status of human rights within India. Such documents can be very difficult to obtain, and World Sikh News provides an invaluable service by reprinting significant human rights reports in full. As World Sikh News enters its seventh year of publication, I offer my congratulations—and my thanks—to its staff members. Your dedicated work too often goes unacknowledged, but it is never unappreciated. You bring light where otherwise there would be darkness.
