CHANDIGARH: Thirty two people, including 11 security men, were killed in Punjab since Saturday night raising the number of people killed in violence in the state to 72 in the past two days.
Five securitymen were killed when militants attacked a special police post in Amritsar district Nov 17.
Militants fired at a religious congregation in Hoshiarpur district Noy 17, killing six people, including Baba Balwant Singh, head of the Nanak Dukhbhanjan Satsangh Ghar.
Forty people, including 11 RSS workers, were killed in the state.
